Part IV: How To Make It In America – Growing Hemp for Fiber & Fabric
Achieving a truly regenerative and sustainable textile and fashion industry will require a massive shift in how we work with plants, animals and their fibers. To do it well, we must listen to farmers, researchers and expert wisdom to best match fiber crop genetics with people and place. We think the integration of natural fibers like hemp into today's textile systems make for a fertile soil of creativity and community rebuilding through U.S. grown and sewn products.
