U.S. Hemp Fiber: The Kentucky Cloth Project

Not only are they doing a lot with hemp in Kentucky (below) and Colorado, they're also teaching their followers about sustainable dyeing methods – like using mushrooms – and how to properly source animal fibers like wool and alpaca. All the while, they manage to churn out some interesting stories, and in this case, some nice visuals on hemp fiber processing from the heart of America. Featured in the video and banner above is Mike Lewis, executive director the veteran group Growing Warriors and a proud Kentucky hemp farmer.
